That has to be literally the weirdest custom I've ever come across. How the hell do you end up with "pooping log" that gives gifts when you beat it? How???
It goes back to when the Jews beat Jesus with sticks and he pooped out mana from heaven.
When I beat my log there is a creamy white gift at the end.
