uh... i'm not sure i know someone who doesn't think a bowed saw isn't awesome...

he was way sharp on some notes though..... i mean come on

chairsforcheap - 2010-08-23

wow a triple negative? i am sure off my meds

cognitivedissonance - 2010-08-24

That's the problem with bowed saws: they're always a little sharp.

arresting

Comatose2 - 2010-08-23

I think the saw sounds best when he kicked it up an octave at 2:30. Maybe it's easier to hit individual notes in that range because it didn't sound like he had any off-key moments.

chairsforcheap - 2010-08-23

no way, exact opposite. He probably was just really in the zone... You have to flex it harder and the higher vibrations are in much more minute increments (like any instrument)

Okay, the leg shake for vibrato is just kinda awesome.

They all laughed when he told them he was going to be a Musical Saw Superstar. They told him that he was crazy and naive; that he'd never get out of that two-bit town; that he'd never do better than to just marry his high school girl Jessica and open a shop in the village somwhere like all the other boys eventually.

Are they laughing now?
