Once again, it is not the incident that is so bad but her response to it. The fact that she tried to stop this video being released makes everyone who ends up seeing it view her behaviour in a much more negative light.

citrusmirakel - 2010-10-28

The more irritating part to me is the treatment of her subordinates. Snapping your fingers to summon somebody? I'd encourage waiters to spit in your food, lady.

Chalkdust - 2010-10-28

the response:

http://voices.washingtonpost.com/44/2010/10/odonnell-campaign- threatens-to.html?wprss=44

Also, there's a few delicious comments on that page:

"PLEASE RMEMBER...Christine is in rare form...Halloween is just around the corner"

"O'Donnell is perfect for the Tea Party because tea parties are for little girls with imaginary friends."

fatatty - 2010-10-29

It's definitely the incident too. Come on that was just ridiculous. I have never seen someone have a man in a dark suit attempt to intimidate an interviewer for asking hard questions. Not to mention the arrogant finger snapping.

And why do all of these Tea Party candidates have thugs?? Are the Koch brothers buying Blackwater (sorry Xe) security to rough up anyone who tries to make their puppets look bad?

"I'm you. I'm followed around 24/7 by my own personal security entourage who will intimidate anyone who makes me feel uncomfortable. I'm not an elitist. I'm you."

CharlesSmith - 2010-10-28

I like how he slides up next to her, like his presence will scare away the mean radio host, then when it doesn't work she smacks him in the arm like "Well, go on, get him!"

Old_Zircon - 2010-10-28

When Palin's president, he'll be allowed to tase in situations like these.

OxygenThief - 2010-10-28

With Palin for president, these situations will be banned under her wide sweeping "It's in Leviticus, Faggot" reforms.

Stopheles - 2010-10-28

I read that CharlesSmith's comment before viewing. I had no idea that it was an actual description of her actions.

What a childish, foolish, indignant woman this is. Bravo, Tea Party! Thanks for Delaware!

Old_Zircon - 2010-10-28

So I guess the US is Germany, the UK is Italy and Israel is Japan, more or less.

Caminante Nocturno - 2013-05-25

I don't think Japan deserves to be insulted like that.

K. Brass - 2010-10-28

Like witches of ye olde times, she summons a familiar with a snap of the fingers.

longwinded - 2010-10-28

I didn't think this would be all that exciting but that was not the behavior I would want out of a person running for dogcatcher

Caminante Nocturno - 2010-10-28

Are you fucking kidding me?

Oscar Wildcat - 2010-10-28

Beware the dreaded "What would you actually do if you were in office" question.

Udderdude - 2010-10-28

That is the lamest attempt at intimidation I have ever seen.

memedumpster - 2010-10-28

I almost want to subtract a star for the radio host not dragging this bullshit immediately out onto the air when it happens.

"Christine O' Donnel has just snapped her fingers to get her bodyguard to intimidate me into not asking questions, ladies and gentlemen. I am being threatened for doing my job by this woman who wants to be Senator and if this goon touches me again I will break this mic off in his ass, Ms. O'Donnel."

cognitivedissonance - 2010-10-28

The petulance!

Johnny Madhouse - 2010-10-28

Is that a bodyguard? He's holding a black book thing. Could he just be her schedule monkey?

cognitivedissonance - 2010-10-28

Her Bible Caddy.

OxygenThief - 2010-10-29

"There is a bit of a cross-breeze and the greens have been pretty fast lately so I recommend the book of Deuteronomy, sermon three, followed up by Acts for an easy birdie."

fluffy - 2010-10-28

So whatever happened to the days when people were allowed to finish asking questions before someone started in with their answer? It seems that this is a disease that has spread to every corner of society. It's just basic politeness that you're supposed to be taught when you're 5 and nobody knows it anymore.

BHWW - 2010-10-28

He's also there to rescue her in case things go horrible wrong.

"Quick man, get me to the hovercraft!"

Jet Bin Fever - 2010-10-29

YO THAT BITCH BE WACK

TeenerTot - 2010-10-29

Xteen Odenl summons lvl 47 Minion.

exy - 2010-10-29

Was he writing a ticket? A note to show the host: "STOP POLLUTING THIS INTERVIEW WITH QUESTIONS"?

Ignoring the levels of my fear based on what they were/are running for, and assuming I have seen equally sufficiently representative samples of each, O'Donnell seems dafter than Palin.
