I'm totally gay for Arino.
I can't stop watching him struggling with the games I never had the nerves to play to the end.

I watched the entire thing to see how long it would take for them to bust out the famous code. SPOILER **** They never do. They don't use the 30 lives trick. But, they do use a different trick at 35:00 that I never knew of. That tickled my nerd fancy.

Perhaps this can help disprove the notion that Contra is one of the hardest games ever made.
Then again, I've played the game so many times that the patterns are forever engraved in my mind. I can beat it without continuing in 15 to 20 minutes. I'm still working out on not dying once. I've thought about going for the world record in points, but I would have to beat the game at least six times in a row. Not sure if I could ever devote the time.

Riskbreaker - 2011-09-01 I think people don't give Arino as much credit as he deserves, again. He's not a "hardcore pro" gamer, but for the most part he learns fast from his mistakes, and eventually gets good.

MacGyver Style Bomb - 2011-09-01 I was impressed by how well he picked up on things, such as in the 3d stages. He did put forth a good showing here.
It's just when people say that Contra is harder then say, Ghosts 'n Goblins or any of the other games that nearly broke Arino's will, I gotta speak up.

I like the nipple twist console they show. I've never heard of that one.
