A DIY plotter is a pretty useful project in general. I wonder if he has implemented or plans to implement drivers to use it as a printer like a commercial plotter?
I just met the sister of a friend who works at Wyden-Kennedy here in Portland. She told me they used it for some project then threw it in storage, then some developers decided to have some fun with it. I guess they couldn't keep it a secret for long.
I'm a machinist and I'm very familiar with this kind of thing other than the programming portion (which is probably the easiest part of the whole thing). Using technology that Ben Franklin/Tesla/Edison would eat their own cum to even dream about for the purpose of drawing a penis? That's flawless.
