How far would that ball travel before being fully consumed?

The interesting thing about this is its *not* just, work out the kinetic energy of the ball and dump that into a ball sized area. Through fusion the ball can actually convert even more nuclear energy into light/heat than was put in as pure kinetic energy.

Mr. Purple Cat Esq. - 2024-02-07 I guess like how a heat pump can move several times more energy into your house than it takes to run it.
|
Mr. Purple Cat Esq. - 2024-02-07 I'm gonna start calling fission/fusion reactors "nuclear heat pumps" from now on.

Mister Yuck - 2024-02-08 That's not a good analogy for how heat pumps work.

If I move forward faster than the speed of light with a camera and take a snapshot directly ahead, will I get a photo of the back of my head?
