Jesus christ, The Internet.

What concerns me is this is a fan-made port of Mario Paint for the PC.
|
DrDoalot - 2008-09-11 I agree, either work with the limitations of the original SNES cart or don't do it... this is just dumb. Also how can you all not hate this song by now?

Caminante Nocturno - 2008-09-11
The guy who made this just can't shut up.

Youtube bubble commentary needs to disappear.

|
Hooper_X - 2008-09-11 I think, in context, it really adds something to the experience. It's like having Ulililililiiliia telling you what he's doing while he does it, except with an obnoxious balloon instead of the inevitable nasal whine that you know this kid has.
|
Rovin - 2008-09-11 For this vid I might agree somewhat. But most of the time it's more like you're watching something you're paying attention to, the word balloon grabs your eyes away, and you end up reading something idiotic when you were only interested in the vid in the first place.
|
Keefu - 2008-09-11 The difference being Ulillillia has a wonderfully hypnotic aspie voice and is well spoken.

Wow, not having Mario hopping along the notes really dramatically reduces the entertainment value of MarioPaint. This guy basically just transcribed the song to a really shitty synthesizer program.

Five for another installment of poeTV's "Good at something = autism" series.

this is the autism that repulsed the arms of hannibal and subdued the nations of the earth

What's actually difficullt or interesting here? It's transcription. I'm sure the sheet music for this song is available online; what's the point?
This probably deserves more stars, as this guy is clearly a POE-Red worthy exhibit, but I don't want to encourage him.
|
Hooper_X - 2008-09-11 By his own admission, it took the kid at least ten hours to do this.
Ten.
Hours.
Ten hours of putting little cartoon boats in exactly the right spot.

Way to butcher a classic.

When I was little and too poor to buy any instruments or music authoring software I used to hook up the Super Nintendo to a TV in the computer room and use Windows Sound Recorder and a cheap microphone to record each instrument in little clips (which were limited to or so 32 bars) and then combine them together to make full songs.
As an aside, do people really like Dragonforce or do they just like them ironically or is there no longer any irony to liking things ironically? All I know is that I downloaded one of their CDs and I only put it on in my car after gulping down a Rockstar energy drink in order to stave off sleep when I have to drive on the freeway after being up for 24 hours.

There is nothing ironic about appreciating a band that puts dueling guitar solos in a ballad.
