Okay, he's an actor... Let me start that over. Okay, he's an "actor," so you can't really use his on-screen performances as a measure of his personality. After all, a lot of actors play very nice and pleasant characters while themselves being thunderdouches. It is possible that he wants the best for all of us while playing characters that break bones and torture two dimensional bad guys.
If Steven Segal's movies are the best effort he could make to promote peace, he needs to go back to the drawing board. He might be able to get some Lamaist to call him a tolku by writing a fat check, but I'm not yet convinced
