Xenocide - 2010-04-23

Xenocide - 2010-04-23 Um, the protagonist is a female.
But her boyfriend being "coffee colored" and not sufficiently "ethnic looking" probably has something to do with the fact that black people are not interchangeable and actually have a variety of skin tones and features. Fancy that.

Midnight Man - 2010-04-24 A variety of skin tones and features coded to their trustworthiness for our convenience

This still makes me want to see the rest of this movie. That was rather amazing. I fear I'll be disappointed in the rest of that movie, now that I saw that bit first.

Boxhead - 2010-04-23 It was a good film. Definitely better than the last few princess movies.

WHO WANTS DESSERT - 2010-04-23 As a grown-ass man who willingly derives entertainment from cartoons for children, Princess and the Frog is a good time.

Wow, that was awful. 5 stars for not deviating from the Villain Song formula.

Better, because it cuts to the chase much faster.

I like the visual effects going on here, but the actual song itself, I don't feel, is very good.

WHO WANTS DESSERT - 2010-04-23
I'm shocked, not a single person making a "voodoo bullshit" reference to The Thing since, you know, it's the same actor.
