First off, you're wrong.

Tim and Eric makes me laugh harder and more frequent than anything. I love their weird brand of comedy, and plenty of others do too, which is why Tim and Eric are rich.

Second, the idea of a person getting stabbed by a drug abuser being funny makes me think nobody should listen to you when it comes to humor.

They're actually funny people, and they know exactly what they are doing with T&E.

Yeah, meme, I know, stress is the root of comedy. That's why rape jokes are funny. No argument from me there. But delivery counts for a lot, and that's where Tim and Eric fall flat. Even the ancient Sumerians knew that!

Seriously, though. I wasn't joking a few posts ago- well, not completely. Hell, Tim starts the story by flat out admitting that he's not going to say anything funny, and suggests that his audience will laugh anyway because, well, they're idiots, and because they expect to laugh since they perceive Tim to be "a comedian". And lo, that's exactly what they do.

Virtually all of the "humor" in Tim and Eric's spiel stems from the fact that they're just not funny. That's it. That's "their genius". It's like Andy Warhol and all that "turn people famous by claiming that they're famous" bullshit he messed around with. They say they're comedians, people laugh because comedians are supposed to be funny, and T&E make bank.

I watch every clip that is submitted here, approaching each one with a clean slate.

They never crack one star. Again, the only funny thing they ever did was the Jim & Derrick show (the original, before they ran it into the ground). The only reason that was funny was because it was an MTV spoof, 100% of the humor could come from their motion graphics work and not their performances, which is where all their potential humor usually dies.
