The thing about real, historical tarot that gives it any kind of enduring value is that, like any other traditional oracular system that has endured, the symbolism is general enough that it can apply to ANYONE in some way, but also has a complex allegorical representation of human psychology behind it that is emergent from generations of use ad refinement rather than one person. It's basically a sophisticated tool for jarring yourself out of habitual ways of thinking and behaving*.
Stuff like this that fundamentally changes the whole semiotic thing of tarot so that it fits the beliefs of the artist who made it kind of eliminates what practical value this stuff could be argued to have (unless you're a new age true believer who actually takes the metaphysical baggage at face value, of course, which is probably 99.9999999% of people who have anything to do with this kind of stuff.)
I don't have any room for this sort of thing in my life (beyond aesthetic value) but the basic concept of a chanced based oracular system is still a really useful tool to use if you do any kind of creative work.
*all of this is to grossly and reductively paraphrase Jung, who I haven't read in at least a decade, from memory so take it for what it's worth.
Forgot the well earned stars.
Also I think Baba Yaga is an active tag.
A good tarot deck would be busy comic book panels, so you could say things like "See that thug in the background of the 9 of Batmans who is trying to throw a punch at Batman, well that represents a compulsion to change"
Yeah, Jung loved him some alchemy.
Syd, that's pretty much what the historic ones are like.

I think my favorite is the wheelchair race at the Rush concert at 12:53.

I'll stay with the preview image, thanks.
Pretty much anywhere you pause in this video you'll get something that would be a good reaction image on the kin of forums where people do stuff like that. She's expressive, if nothing else.

Rodents of Unusual Size
Black Nubians ruled Egypt for roughly 120 years so I'm willing to give that possibility but there's no fucking way an Egyptian goddess ever sat in Buddha pose.
Also, no one worshiped Baba Yaga, because it was a folktale, not a myth, and that story was never part of a religion.
I feel sort of sorry for this woman but she makes my head hurt with her goddess pogs.
Thanks to this thread, I discovered that somebody has retconned Baba Yaga into Beowulf:
