I always get this confused with The Illusionist, which came out at the same time. It was like Protect and Serve and Paul Blart for Magician Movies.. like maybe being a magician was suddenly really cool in 2006 so they wanted to get kids into Spencer's Gifts with their PG13-rated movies before the economy crashed, who knows? 5 for Bowie but this movie was definitely the Paul Blart of the two.
