He's inept as well.

ashtar. - 2022-01-31 HOW TO FIGHT FASCISM:
1. Continue fascist policies.
2. Do nothing else.
3. ?????
4. Victory!
Crackersmack - 2022-02-01 Fascism is when Republicans win elections and do the same stuff that Democrats do (tax cuts for rich people, privatization, new wars, little else), but in a really rude way.
simon666 - 2022-02-01 Press write and tweet this kind of stuff when they don't the kind of insider access they want.
glasseye - 2022-02-01 Don't forget utterly botching the pandemic response.

Oh no those dastardly republicans at the CDC! Darn them!
Or maybe the reporters writing that just did a fake news because they weren't invited out for ice cream with Joe Brandon?
Crackersmack - 2022-02-01 Yeah Sol that's why there is no covid in blue states, right?

Imagine if FDR said 'Man, this depression is too hard. States are gonna have to deal with it.'
SolRo - 2022-02-01 Just start using racist dogwhistles against Harris already, you republican shitheels.
Pillager - 2022-02-01 No, Kamala "Zero Delegates" Harris is a corrupt, incompetent neolib.
"Kamala Harris one year: Where did it go wrong for her?"
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-60061473
Her ethnicity doesn't matter. She sucks.

ashtar. - 2022-02-01 "Uber Technologies Inc chief legal officer Tony West's total compensation for 2020 neared $12.3 million, mostly in the form of stock awards, the ride-hailing company has disclosed.
West, who is also the brother-in-law of U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris, led Uber's successful efforts to get legislation passed last year that cemented its drivers' status as independent contractors, not employees, in California.
His 2020 pay package included $10.87 million in stock awards, $800,000 in salary and $624,000 in non-equity incentive compensation, a post-Dodd Frank form of cash pay, Uber disclosed in a Friday filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission."

Crackersmack - 2022-02-01 personally I like how Kopmala does that bizarre, aggressive forced laugh any time she is asked a question that she doesn't want to answer
SolRo - 2022-02-01 Just start spouting off about how only Dear Donald can save America from these evil leftists.
You know you want to.
All the shit you read ends with MAGA, it must be seeping in by now.
glasseye - 2022-02-01 Lol SolRo.
Nobody here thinks Biden / Harris are leftists; they're just as hard right as your beloved Donald.
glasseye - 2022-02-01 But you know, keep doubling down on incompetence and inaction! That's sure to be a winning strategy at the next big capitalist-imperialist party reshuffling!
Crackersmack - 2022-02-01 Hell in a lot of ways Trump was to the left of the current administration. When Trump was president we got several stimulus payments, passed a moratorium on evictions that Democrats are letting expire, passed a moratorium on student loan payments that Democrats are letting expire, and the federal government reimbursed employers for covid hazard pay. There were several months in 2020 where I got an extra $150 a week from my employer because of that program.
If Clinton had won in 2016 you can be 1000% sure that there would have been no stimulus and no suspension of evictions. Because Democrats are more ideologically committed to orthodox conservatism than Republicans are.
Pillager - 2022-02-01 Keep sobbing about Trump, Solro. Just see how effective it is at swinging elections.

glasseye - 2022-02-01 Yeah, Biden and Trump are differently awful for sure.
ashtar. - 2022-02-01 "The Democrats should represent the interests of labor rather than the interests of capital" is the only way to prevent the US from sliding further into fascism.
SolRo - 2022-02-02 And you get so pissy when some people say you’re the same troll running sock puppets.
Pillager - 2022-02-02 https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2022-02-01/manchin-says-bi den-plan-dead-talks-must-start-from-scratch
“What Build Back Better bill?” Manchin said Tuesday when asked about the legislation. “It’s dead.”
SolRo, we're talking about the myriad of Biden's failures. Try to stay on task o king of ad hominems.
Crackersmack - 2022-02-02 what's really cool is that Manchin remains the chair of the important and powerful Energy Committee in the senate, something that Democratic leadership could take from him at any time but just chooses not to
glasseye - 2022-02-02 I just can't imagine the degree of blinders one has to have to think that no criticism can come at FUCKING BIDEN from the left.
Doubling down on this by claiming we're all sock accounts is doubly black pilling. What the actual fuck.
Crackersmack - 2022-02-02 the game we play here at poet five dot com is a bunch of center-right liberals pretend that they represent the farthest left possible on the American political spectrum and pretend that any disagreement with them has to come from the right
glasseye - 2022-02-01
This is also an example of why imagining politics as a single line isn't particularly useful. The "left vs right + authoritarian vs libertarian" plane is a bit better, but it's really a multidimensional parameter space.
glasseye - 2022-02-01 Ope that was meant to be a reply.
