I did have a rather creepy experience at a Walmart though I didn't make a scene.
I had heard about 'the little printer dots' thing and on a lark I decided to pay for a printer in cash to see what would happen. A receipt checker immediately descended on me and had me not only show her the receipt but take out my ID and hold both my ID and receipt up to the cameras. I have no idea if this is what always happens with receipt checkers, she was just on a power trip or my act of purchasing an item with cash triggered a red flag. Yes, that did make me a little uncomfortable. Could those cameras even zoom on on something so small?!

There are no good guys in this story.

It's like they can't help themselves.
