The part about people going to the hospital may have been an embellishment on the part of the reporter. The interviewee said only that she'd heard of people vomiting & crying, which isn't unreasonable. I've seen big tough men lose it at the sight of an open wound.

It's feasible someone suffering PTSD might have had to go to the hospital after suffering an anxiety attack when they were exposed to triggering images, but that's hardly an indictment of an entire generation.
