The best 'fall in to distance' scene was Hans Gruber's at the end of Die Hard.
I always called this the Mountain Dew scream because they always use it when someone is falling several hundred feet, say to catch a can of soda.
I remember wanting to see a compilation of this type of scream in one of the Wilhelm scream videos. So 5 stars for this.
