Also, the end reminds me of Shadowrun for SNES. You get a whole list of topics to ask people about but rarely any hints as to what any one person can help you with.
I love how these graphics were so advanced for the time that they had to be pre-rendered, probably taking hours per frame, and now that would be extremely low-fi for realtime.

there's something strangely soothing about this series. I kinda want an update, but i don't see how they could pull it off and make it any kind of profitable these days
