THA SUGAH RAIN - 2010-03-01

One tim I was sitting on the beach alone with my girlfriend at sunrise. And I figured the silence and the natural beauty was a good moment to make some deep insight about humanity and nature. To which my girlfriend responded, "Shut the fuck up, its just a sunrise and you're ruining it."
Thats how I feel about this video.

APE_GOD - 2010-03-02

Watched it. He didn't 'find god'. He phrased all of his rhetorical questions, the ones he found insite about, he phrased them all in terms of a god he clearly already believed in.

Not nearly as compelling as an unbeliever 'finding god' as the title suggests.

title and "xtian propaganda" (uhh, where?) tag aside, this is pretty cool.

Camonk - 2010-03-02

I was hoping it was gonna be the "What does God need with a starship?" kind of finding god in space OH GOD I JUST MADE A STAR TREK REFERENCE OH JESUS WHAT IS HAPPENING

kamlem - 2010-03-02

He should have turned around 180 degrees and sermonised about what a wasteful fucker God is.

NASA psychological tests aren't foolproof. You really don't want people deciding they found a higher power than science while they're in such a dangerous environment. There was such a thing as "too smart to be an astronaut" in several senses of the word.

Spoonybard - 2010-03-02

NASA recruits from the Air Force and those guys are mad religious already

Timothy A. Bear - 2010-03-02

God hangs out in space because he really can't stand us.

Xenocide - 2010-03-02

Rusty Schackleford found God in space alright. Which means he couldn't have been back on Earth that night setting up surveillance cameras in Hank Hill's backyard. It's an air-tight alibi, your honor. Your SUPPOSED honor.

Five for internet Atheist fervor

TeenerTot - 2010-03-02

God orbits like a spy satellite, reporting his findings to Santa.

CharlesSmith - 2010-03-02

I want "not nearly as good as the musical of the same name" to be a linked tag.

Sputum - 2010-03-02

I'm a big old atheist cry baby, but he only mentioned god like 3 times, and otherwise said some really wonderful and insightful things. There is no way this can be construed as proselytizing.

Thanks for referencing my favorite movie in the last tag though!
