It really does seem like television has gotten better and movies worse.

That's right, CSI, Real Housewives, Jersey Shore, American Idol, Simpsons, The View, Dr. Phil, Judge Judy, O'Reilly Factor, Ellen, Glee, Extreme Makeover, The Batchelorett,e et al. are all really fine program.

Most TV is shit with a few edible pieces of corn showing up every now and again.

All forms of entertainment mostly suck. TV mostly sucks a lot less than it used to.

Garcet, you make a good point. I still think those old shows mostly suck, but there is nothing more hilarious than when Full House, Saved by the Bell or Family Matters did something off the beaten path. A good example of this is the Urkel Dance episode in which Urkel gets wasted. Another moment of delight occurs in the anti-drug episode of SBTB in which Slater and Zach catch some dude smoking pot in the bathroom.

Family Matters was great. Everybody loved Urkel. The theme kinda sucked though.
