this gave me a massive nerdagsm, i was going to substract stars for "the visionary director" but i'm just to mellow now. Yes this is what i'd like it to look like, and it should be a trilogy or something!

Oh god I wish Billy Corgan would just die horribly already. He is really just the fucking worst.
PS: This was awesome.

Aelric - 2009-02-18 Yeah, Meerkat got that right, mostly.
Also: The animated comic is turning out to be pretty good, however, they couldn't seem to find a single female voice actress thus far, giving Sally Jupiter the voice of an undisguised middle aged from the community theater, who does most the other voices from what I can tell as well, though they work much better.
The Animation, however, is top notch. I huge step up since the "animated comic" got "big" from Broken Saints (which I highly recommend).

While the trailer may be fan made, I'm pretty sure the animation was done for the Watchman motion comics. They just remade the movie trailer using shots from those.

What is this visionary technology and when will it be applied to The Sandman?

Cheese - 2009-02-18 Everything in the Maxx was redrawn, while it used the same storytelling style, no actual art assets were carried over.
I'm gonna venture a guess that about 90% of this is redrawn too. Most of the backgrounds, certain elements that were incomplete in the comics version (arms, legs, etc), not to mention anything that moves, bends, etc. I would also bet that they used Flash to put it together.

Oh, neat. this is the "animated comic" thing? Someone I know worked on this. Looks pretty cool.

This is rad. Like those Jack Chick vids they made but used towards good comics.

This is the only comic I've ever liked.
